The design of this aircraft was awesome in the movie and should have lended itself well as a toy. The contstruction of the body seems durable enough to last. Two immediate complaints after having it for only couple of hours however leave me and my son disappointed. First, the canopy sometimes locks into place and sometimes does not. Second, the missles that fire out do not always lock into place. So when you recover a missle and put it back in it can unexpectedly shoot out again often in a direction you do not intend. If we got this for free or for cheap at a garage sale, I would be very happy with this toy. The fact that my son spent 32 of his hard-earned dollars on this hurts. To be fair, he has just simply resolved to not using the missles and continues to fly the Bat around the house.

Dark Knight Rises was awesome! I ordered this toy right after watching the movie. Not sure how fun it is to play with...as I only bought it because it looks cool. But I'm happy with the quality and it's overall look. THUMBS UP :)

my son got this as a birthday present and he loved it. the batman is made of foam like a nerf dart and it can fly far when you shoot him out. the missiles lock in well (they only go in a certain way) and shoot pretty far too. Its very durable i think since my son has stood on it and it didnt crack or break. over all i would completely recommend this toy for a batman enthusiast!
