TopCase Rubberized HOT BLUE Hard Case Cover for Macbook Air 13" (A1369 and A1466) with TopCase Mouse Pad (Electronics) Rubberized texture of case, doesn't show fingerprints, and has 4 rubber feet and slots on bottom for heat release. (accurately pictured) HOT BLUE color is also NICE! Arrives in mail with no instructions and minimal packaging, but undamaged. Both top and bottom have tabs that snap onto the laptop. Press top and bottom covers on until you hear a click and see that all the tabs have latched onto the laptop. Case covers all of the laptop except for the back hinge and port access. There are no noises or movement of the pieces once installed. Easy to determine front/back of case bottom, but harder with the case top. You'll know you have top on correctly when the cutouts and tabs on the top and bottom of the case cover meet on the sides and front when the laptop is closed. Case does not seem to impede range of movement of the screen and the apple logo shines through the cover. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This cover replaces a clear $59 Power Support USA (PS) cover that began to crack on the corner after 6 months. It was never dropped. The PS cover was slim, well-fitting, good looking, with a self-healing coating that hides scratches. Unfortunately that coating also was slippery, so there was always the potential for it to slip out of my hands when carrying my 2011 13" Macbook Air around the house. Additionally, the PS cover was molded with rounded bumps on the bottom surface, which fit around the built-in feet on the bottom of the Macbook. Tiny self-stick rubber feet are provided for the purchaser to attach over the bumps. The feet simply do not stay attached to the bottom of the slippery coated case, and within 1 week, all were gone. With no rubber feet, the cover slides all over the place on hard surfaces. New, improved ones were provided by PS, but they were still gone within 1 week, despite... Read more |
