I did a lot of research before I ever decided to buy this one. Everyone kept talking about how the different kinds of players would quit working quickly or the volume wasn't high enough. I finally decided on this one and am very glad I did. My son certainly doesn't have any problem hearing it and in fact, I don't have a problem hearing it when I'm driving.My only gripe with this product is the car bag/kit. It is just fine as a bag to carry the dvd player and all the things that come along with it. However, it is the same material as the reusable grocery bags that the major grocery stores have started carrying. It is hard to keep the player in place and I have had a difficult time actually finding another mount for this player. They've got the kinds that mount it in the middle of the car but that doeesn't make much sense to me if the car seat backs are in different places. I really would just like to find some straps to hold it tight... It looks good and performs well. The car bag kit is a bit flimsy but as for the performance of the player I have no complaints.
