4.0 out of 5 stars Great keyboard case for the Nexus 7, November 20, 2012

For the iPad, the Logitech Ultrathin is an ideal keyboard/case combo. For Windows 8, the Type Cover is excellent. I've been wanting something similar for my Nexus 7, and the various leather case set-ups like IVSO Keyboard didn't work out for me, due to too much added bulk.

Now a slew of identical bluetooth keyboard cases are out... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars One of the nicest N7 keyboards, I wish it had a Tab key!, November 29, 2012

First caveat: This does _not_ make your N7 into a mini-laptop. It's a little keyboard which becomes a screen cover, but there's no hinge; when you take it off, you now have two pieces -- a keyboard and a tablet. There's a slot in the keyboard where you can rest the tablet, which is nice, but this doesn't work super well on your lap, and the screen angle isn't adjustable. Most people will find the angle too steep for comfortable use on a table -- of course you can just lay the tablet down flat next to the keyboard. If you don't want to use the keyboard, you have to stash it somewhere; you can't attach it to the back of the tablet or anything.

Second caveat: Any keyboard the size of an N7 is a small keyboard. The N7 plus this keyboard is a _very_ portable bundle, but that portability comes with a cost. Some people don't mind mini keyboards (I'm one of them); others try one for a few minutes and want to run screaming. Make sure you know which one you are... Read more

I gave this MiniSuit Bluetooth Keyboard Case five stars because it a well-made, very useful, all-in-one accessory for the Nexus 7.
* Its best feature is as a cover for the Tablet. It snaps on easily and matches the finish of the Nexus 7 very nicely. It's almost identical to the material on the back of the Nexus 7 except that the holes are a little further apart. It provided great protection for the screen and makes for a very durable case.
* The Stand feature also works very well. The Nexus easily slips in the slot in either portrait or landscape orientation. The angle offers a nice view of the screen. Note - the setup is a little tipsy in the portrait mode.
* The keyboard is somewhat useful, but is no replacement for a full size keyboard. It's well made and the keys have nice action, but they are just too small to allow 10 finger typing. But it is better than typing on the virtual landscape keyboard. One or two fingers per hand typing are about all you are going to do... Read more
