This review is from: BenQ MW519 2800 Lumen WXGA DLP Smarteco Projector (Office Product) OK, I'm using this as a Home Theater projector. It's 1280X800 which is 16:10 and considered Full HD. All my PC monitors are 16:10 cause I like the extra realestate as opposed to the 16:9 widescreens. Anyways, I figured, give it a shot and hope I can live with it, turns out, I LOVE it!! I bought it for the 2800 Lumens and the 13,000:1 contrast ratio. In my eyes, that's the best of both worlds. Otherwise, you get a really dark picture with Home theater or really bright with business projectors. This, with Smart-Eco on and the high contrast is PERFECT for most living room settings in my opinion.I figure being it's labeled as a "business projector", I'd have to tweak the picture a bunch..... NOT THE CASE! Right out of the box, it looked VERY good!! Since, I've adjusted only the brightness and contrast. However, for sports, I did adjust the greens down some, that's it!! It's color management lets you adjust 6 different colors for hue, gain and saturation. Honestly, if you can't... This review is from: BenQ MW519 2800 Lumen WXGA DLP Smarteco Projector (Office Product) I used projectors for movies and games in living room. Previously I used a Optoma projector with 800*600 resolution. After the upgrade to this 720p Benq projector, the improvement of the image is obvious. The color is good out of box without much adjustment. The brightness is enough for me, even too bright sometimes. Have not tried the 3D function yet.The cons is the noise of this projector is a little too much and produce a lot of heat than average. Overall, I think this projector delivered what it is designed for. I am satisfied with it. |
