I was hesitant to purchase this product because last year I made a huge mistake by buying Bissel's Flip It (electronic broom vacuum and mop). Before I begin my review of this product, let me begin with the Bissel equivalent. I bought the product because I'm 26 years old and was living in New Orleans in the French Quarter. I would have friends over all the time, and they'd track in the quarter filth all over the hardwood. I bought the Bissel because it seemed to make sense. It's an electronic broom vacuum on one side, then you flip the handle over to the other side and it becomes a wet map. It came with two attachable mop features, a non-moving brush and a small microfiber pad. The Bissel product was awful. This router has 4 ethernet connections as well as 2 wireless channels. One primary for the owners use and a completely seperate channel for guests to use.Both have separate IDs as well as access codes. The MBR95 can also be used with cable or other fixed type systems. I am a full time RVer and this has been a huge upgrade in my internet access capability. I am curently using my same 3G modem with excellent results. I am going to try a 4G modem soon and see how that works. This router will support either type modem. It can also interface other wireless devices such as printers with ease. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting high quality wireless service for their computer network at work or at home. My modem is 3G and 4G compatible. Even if you have established a 3G connection, the router will attempt to make a 4G connection, which drops the 3G. This is quite possibly the worst hearing protection I have ever used. I wrote this unit off as a lemon or part of a bad batch. However, I was at my local shooting range this past weekend when a gentleman approached me because he noticed that I was wearing the same brand that he had. We compared notes and realized that we both had the same issues. They are as follows.1. The battery location and replacement procedure is ill considered and lends itself to the possibility of damage to the unit when accessing the battery compartment. 2. The location and orientation of the on/off/volume knob, specifically the right side, causes the right unit to be inadvertently activated when the unit is folded for storage. They mention that the pads wear out in 6 months, which I thought odd because I have muffs a lot older than 6 months that I never replaced anything on. The interior foam will wear out on these for sure, do to the fact that they make contact with your ears. This is what makes them hot and uncomfortable for long term wear (3-4 hours). Not to mention your glasses "must" have wire frames or the muff becomes useless, there is no extra room in the cup for the arms of your eye wear. |
