But if you do some research, you will see that a lot of other name brand tablets like Samsung, Blackberry, etc., will run you more than double of what you will pay for this tablet. While Elsse is not a brand I was familiar with, I've been pretty happy with it so far. I guess it really depends on what reasons you are looking to purchase a tablet. Some of the features of this one could be better, but then again you get what you pay for. It has a front 1.3 megapixel camera which isn't great. I think most smart phones and tablets come with a better quality cam, but it works with the exception of using it in Skype. I tried to do a video call in Skype and my image was discolored and blurred. So if your main concern is the camera and doing video chatting, you'll probably want to look at another model. But for playing games, using the wi-fi to check email, or surf the web, this tablet gets the job done. Another thing about it... It was easy to set up, easy to download games and Skype. Picked up my WIFi almost instantly. Once I set up my gmail account, my google account loaded my contacts complete with pictures. Took a few minutes to figure out how to get to my pictures from my SD card, but once I did, the pictures were good quality. Skype was good on video, but the audio was a little jumpy. For the price, it is an excellent investment. Just the right size and weight to carry around to use while waiting to see doctors, etc. I would highly recommend this tablet to play games, get e-mail, and create documents. |
